Our new life in Christ brings us into a new identity, shaped by a divine purpose and experienced within a family of believers. In the New Testament, the early Church showed a radical commitment to gathering in fellowship, not bound by rituals but united by love and purpose. Jesus instructed His disciples to lead this new kind of community, so that, “everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). This spirit of fellowship was so compelling that even under persecution, the Church grew daily. Together, we too can embody this vibrant community.

At Life Now Church, we believe that meaningful relationships within the Church naturally lead to spiritual growth. Each of us brings a unique story and experience to the table, and as we share our journeys, we become spiritually enriched. One person’s story of grace reveals grace to another; one person’s spiritual discipline guides another into deeper relationship with God; one’s miraculous experience inspires faith in another. In these shared connections, we see a fuller expression of God’s infinite love and holiness. Simply put, we need each other to deepen our understanding of God’s immense love.
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

God has designed us to be His hands and feet, sharing His love with one another and with the world. Understanding this privilege and responsibility shapes how we live in community.
Challenge yourself to expand your connections. Don’t settle comfortably into a small circle, but always embrace new relationships. In a dynamic, biblical community, comfort can hinder growth. True spiritual growth blossoms as we welcome others into meaningful fellowship, enriching both their lives and our own.
