How to Share the Gospel with Your Story
The following prayer is a simple and meaningful way to help someone acknowledge their need for Jesus and take the step of confessing faith in Him. While the prayer itself doesn’t save, it’s a powerful way to guide them toward receiving God’s gift of salvation. This prayer is a step toward life-changing faith in Jesus Christ and an open door to begin a personal relationship with Him.
God, I admit that I am a sinner and in need of Your grace. I’ve made mistakes, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You sent Your Son, Jesus, to live the perfect life I couldn’t live. I believe He died on the cross, was buried, and rose again so I could be forgiven and have eternal life. Please forgive me, save me, and come live in my heart. I surrender my life to You as my Savior and King.
