Children’s Ministry at Life Now Church
Our Family Ministry is dedicated to equipping you and your family to Love God, Love People, and Reach the World with the good news of Jesus. No matter the age of your child—whether they are 8 months, 8 years, or 18 years old—our team provides creative, safe, and age-appropriate environments that are engaging and meaningful. We aim to help children and students build lasting relationships with their peers, ministry leaders, and most importantly, with Jesus.
You have a vital calling to disciple your family, and our Family Ministry team is here to partner with you in this eternal mission. Together, may we glorify God and see His love magnified in the lives of preschoolers, children, students, and parents.
Welcome to Preschool
At Life Now Church, our Preschool Ministry partners with parents to build a foundation of biblical truths in the hearts of young children. Our vision is to introduce children to Christ and equip them with knowledge of God, faith, fruitfulness, and a heart for world evangelization.
Nursery
Our nursery provides a nurturing environment for children aged 8 weeks to 12 months. Each child is prayed for and surrounded by safe, age-appropriate toys and children’s worship music, as we believe in fostering faith even in our youngest members.
One-Year-Olds
At this stage, little ones begin to explore their world through walking and talking. Our goal is to introduce them to Christ’s love through worship, dance, free play, and snacks.
Two-Year-Olds
Two-year-olds begin to learn three basic biblical truths through hearing the Word, worship with songs and instruments, crafts that reinforce these truths, and fellowship with peers.
Three & Four-Year-Olds
Children engage deeply with God’s Word through interactive Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, and crafts. They learn to apply biblical truths and enjoy fellowship with other young believers.
Pre-K
Our Pre-K students are encouraged to apply the three basic biblical truths in their everyday lives. They participate in Scripture memorization, Bible lessons, worship, prayer, and crafts that help them share their knowledge with friends and family.
K – 5th Grade
In our K–5 Ministry, kids experience the Bible in a fun, safe, and engaging environment where we teach God’s Word in chronological order—helping them see how every story points to Jesus. Each week is filled with exciting activities, meaningful lessons, and joyful worship that bring Scripture to life. Our leaders are dedicated to creating a place where every child feels loved, known, and protected. We want kids to grow confident in their faith, remembering God’s promise in Joshua 1:9: “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Security
Background Checks
All Preschool Ministry volunteers have passed both state and federal background checks.
Electronic Check-In
Each child receives an ID tag that they wear during the service, while parents are given a matching tag with a unique code for safe retrieval.
Trained Volunteers
Our volunteers are trained to handle emergency situations, with medical kits available in every room.

Your First Visit
When you arrive at Life Now Church, head to the “Check-In” area, where a Kids Ministry greeter will welcome your family, check your child into our database, and guide them to their small group. At check-in, you and your child will receive matching security tags unique to your visit. Your child will wear the name tag portion, while you’ll keep the parent tag.
If we need to reach you during the service, your last name and family security code will appear on the auditorium screens. Please exit the auditorium and connect with a staff member who will direct you to your child’s room. At checkout, simply return to your child’s room and present your parent tag. For safety, we only release children to an adult, 18 or older, with the correct security tag.

We’re here to support you in leading your children into a relationship with Jesus. Each week, you’ll receive a Parent Connect page with “talking points” and activities to continue the discussion of the weekly Bible story at home.
Serving Your Child
Our team carefully plans activities each week with your child in mind. From games and crafts to worship and Bible teaching, we create a fun, meaningful experience focused on helping your child connect with God.
Christ-Centered Teaching
Our Bible lessons—from Genesis to Revelation—are centered on Christ, showing Jesus as the hero in every story. We teach chronologically, covering the entire Bible every three years, and guide children to understand how the Gospel transforms their hearts and applies to everyday life.
Kids Ministry Values
Safety
Your child’s safety is a top priority. We have secure check-in/out procedures, emergency plans, and require that every volunteer passes a state and federal background check.
Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is a living, dynamic book! We bring its stories to life through engaging activities and discussions, helping kids develop a love for God’s Word and an understanding of how it applies to their lives.
Age-Appropriate Activities
Our environments and lesson materials are tailored to each age group’s development. Since elementary students thrive in structured environments, we emphasize the details of Bible stories, reinforcing lessons with crafts, snacks, object lessons, and games.
Relationships
We value the friendships your child builds in both large and small group settings. Our volunteers help children connect with others during “center time” at the beginning of service and during small group time near the end.
Fun
Fun is essential! When kids have fun at church, they look forward to returning and learning more about Jesus. It’s their “love language,” and we’re excited to make Spark Kids, at Life Now Church, a place they enjoy.
